Virtual Oral Health Improvement Training:
Supporting adults and children with additional needs
Wednesday 6th May 2026 at 2pm – 4pm
The NHS Oral Health Improvement Team would like to invite you to attend a virtual Oral Health Improvement Training session on Teams.
This session is hosted by our Oral Health Improvement team and we have been commissioned by Devon County Council and the NHS to provide FREE training aimed at anyone who works with or supports people with additional needs within Devon (excluding Plymouth and Torbay).
Here is some information about what will be included (but not limited to) in the session:
- The consequences of poor oral health
- Diet and its impact on the teeth and gums
- Causes, symptoms and how to preent tooth decay
- Techniques and support for helping people of all abilities to maintain good oral hygiene.

Once you have booked on to our session you will receive an email with the Microsoft Teams Link on it and details about how and when to join.
Please register to be trained with us and each attendee will receive a CPD certificate upon completion of the post-training feedback.
