Here at Marland Secondary Roundswell, our core purpose is to provide each of our pupils with an Education for Life, by valuing and respecting them as individuals, developing their SEMH and encouraging their individual abilities to their full potential in a caring, orderly environment.

Staff at Marland Roundswell are confident and skilled in building positive relationships that help to break down barriers, build self-esteem and challenge disaffection. Teachers and support staff here are highly trained to meet the needs of individual pupils.

Many of the pupils that attend Marland have not had success in their education elsewhere. Through their attendance here, our students rebuild their trust and desire to learn. Our pupils achieve really well academically, from often lower-than-expected starting points. They leave school at Year 11 with the relevant qualifications and work experience to needed to access their next steps, be that College or employment via an Apprenticeship.
